Choose your connection

Choose the CLI for terminal tasks, scripts or a coding agent that runs commands. Choose MCP when your AI tool supports a remote connection. Use the Windows drive guide if you want a drive in File Explorer.

Install the official CLI

Select your operating system on the official installation page. Windows uses PowerShell; macOS and Linux use a terminal. The installer downloads and runs a script: check its address and contents first. Commands from unrelated third-party clients may differ.

Sign in or register

For an existing account, run the login command below and review the requested access in your browser. On a headless SSH server, use the displayed link and short code on another device. Do not paste your password into a CLI command.

pikpak auth login

Install the official CLI

For a new account, run the registration command and finish in the page it opens. Sign in through PikPak Web or the app within 72 hours to verify the account. Public sharing is restricted before verification; missing the deadline can temporarily lock the account.

The referral command links registration to AppGuide+. Review the referrer in your browser before completing registration; you can remove or restore it. If PIKPAK_AFFILIATE is already set, even the command without a referral flag may supply a referrer. To register without a referral, check that the referrer is removed in your browser. An explicit --affiliate flag takes precedence over PIKPAK_AFFILIATE.

Add the AI skill

After installing the CLI, add its skill so a coding agent can consult the command instructions. Installing a skill does not sign in or grant account access. Start with a small task such as listing files, and check the targets before moving, deleting or sharing.

pikpak skill install

Example request: “Show the names and sizes of my recent PikPak files. Do not move, delete or share anything.”

AppGuide+ first-use onboarding skill

Work through signup choices, verification, your first cloud save and a device download with an AI assistant. Existing accounts start with sign-in.

Get the skill file · Read the skill and setup on GitHub

Save the file as SKILL.md in a pikpak-onboarding project skill folder supported by your AI tool. Follow that tool’s installation instructions. This onboarding skill complements the official CLI operation skill; it does not automatically authorize account access.

Example: “I am new to PikPak. Let me choose whether to use a referral, then help me save one file I select and download it to my device.”

Connect through MCP

In PikPak, open Settings → Access & Integrations → MCP. Copy the server address into your AI tool’s custom MCP connection. Availability differs by tool. Review the browser authorization page before approving. For unattended scripts or NAS jobs, read the official PAT instructions.

Permissions, quota and removal

CLI and MCP use your account transfer quota and the shared connected-app limits. They do not add unlimited transfers. Review permissions and usage under Account & Security → Connected Apps, and remove unused access. The command below signs out the current CLI session.
